NATO Secretary General to visit Berlin for talks and conference

According to NATO, Secretary General Mark Rutte will travel to Berlin, Germany, on Thursday, 10 September 2026, for a bilateral meeting with Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul.

NATO said Rutte will deliver a keynote address and take part in a moderated discussion at the Conference of the Heads of German Missions.

According to NATO's schedule, Rutte and Wadephul will make joint remarks at 11:35 CEST, followed by the keynote address at 11:55 CEST and the moderated discussion at 12:10 CEST.

NATO said the event will be streamed on its website and through its NATOPress account on X. According to the alliance, a transcript, photographs and downloadable video will be made available on NATO platforms after the event.
